Q. My contractor poured my 22 by 28 foot pad out of square by 8 inches. Corner to corner is way out. How can this be fixed or what should I expect to see done?
A. There are three options to fix this. The best option depends on your particular situation. The entire slab can be removed and reinstalled correctly. Both ends of the slab can be sawcut to even it out, although this will make the slab a bit smaller. Concrete can be added to both ends or all the way around to make it square. I can’t say which option is best since I don’t know the exact situation you have. That’s something you’ll have to decide with your contractor.
